Who FIPAN Is

The Feed Industry Practitioners Association of Nigeria (FIPAN) was established to harmonize and take care of all stakeholders in the animal feed industry value chain — feed raw materials (major and micro), feed nutrition, milling and distributors — and to relate within the International Feed Industry as a National Feed Association within the International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF). IFIF is a global body which operates and promotes the global feed industry as an essential participant in the food chain that provides sustainable, safe, nutritious and affordable food for a growing world population.

Our Objectives

  • Promote and protect the interests of members across Nigeria's animal feed industry
  • Foster dialogue among industry stakeholders and address feed safety issues
  • Provide industry representation and advocacy before government, legislative and financial agencies
  • Offer education, publications, seminars, workshops and exhibitions to members and the public
  • Confer and cooperate with national and international bodies with similar objectives, including IFIF
